I loved this pattern so much I decided to sew up a second pair. This time in a rusted red stretch corduroy.
My mom gave me a great tip before starting. Make sure that you cut all of your pieces the same direction when sewing with corduroy. It has a nap to it and will slightly change the color if its facing up or down. The same goes with suede and velvet.
I really liked the way that they have you attach the waistband. It was super easy and looks really nice completed.
I love how professional the final product looks.
I wear these jeans ALL. THE. TIME. I kind of wish I had done a more neutral color so people wouldn’t be aware of how often I’m wearing the same pants, but then again I probably wouldn’t love them as much if they were more plain. 😉
Finished look here is photographed with my Fauntleroy Raglan.
